Meet Harley

Prepare to be adored...

Harley will hop into bed with you and snuggle. He will look adoringly into your eyes. He will lick and nibble your face until you or he decides it’s enough.

Harley is energetic, curious and confident. He loves to go for a walk or hike twice a day (even in the rain). He is happy to nap between outings and looks forward to every meal. He sleeps quietly through the night, either in his crate (with the door open), on a dog bed, or on our bed.

Harley is NOT cat or small animal friendly. Squirrels make him crazy, taunting him from tree branches and fence posts. He is very adaptable and would be okay as an only dog or in a home with one or more (medium or large) dogs. He is perfectly happy with Sophie and Rufus, our greyhounds, and with us.

Harley is a handsome boy with luxuriously soft fur. He likes both men and women. He'll make a great addition to an active home. He's probably too exuberant for small children but we believe he'd be fine with older children. He could benefit from obedience training; specifically, he needs leash training and to learn not to jump on people.

Harley is available for adoption through Greyhound Pets of America-Central Texas. Harley will make you smile, laugh and feel totally adored.

November 2008 UPDATE:  Harley has been adopted and is living happily in Round Rock.
